Ed Nastali Invites You To Join Him in The Roy Rogers and Dale Evans Suite
One of The Coral Sands' Finest Moments awaits those travelers that arrive in the Roy Rogers and Dale Evans Suite to the toast of Ed Nastali in Indian Head Dress...Ed was my best friend's (Vita Alea)
Dad and my God daughters' Grandpa. (Elliott, Amanda, Laura, Katie, Lisa and Amy). Here he was at a printer's Convention...obviously being roasted (and what a good sport he was)...the tag on his lapel reads
"Ship to Kansas City" and below in tiny letters (Pre paid please)...This is one of the greatest treasures residing at The Sands. We love Ed.

Loyal Sanders, Al Estrada-Berg and Cheryl Dillinger
I look forward at least twice a year to these two loyal Sanders returning to The Sands. Al Estrada-Berg and Cheryl Dillinger. These two hail from Seattle and knew the store that I once had there in the north. They have a "thing" for Big Bend State Park and love to play Yahtzee...They are trivia experts and Al was a disc jockey in Texas. Cheryl has a collection of motorcycles and loves to ride. Here they are ready (in their "resort wear") to make their annual trek to Daveys Hideaway for perhaps the famous wedge with blue cheese...perhaps a Delmonico....crab legs. Yum. Ruby loves these kids.

The Behnke Group Just Before Descending on LeVallauris
The Behnke Group celebrating John Behnke's 55th year cleaned up and went to Le Vallauris. Jim Harris, Leo Burke, Claire Cowie, Shari Behnke, John Behnke, Ginny Ruffner, Kim Richter, Al Coolidge and Sandra Coolidge. Ruby loves these folks. They good people.

Paint By Numbers Finale...the Competion Stiff as John Behnke looks on
Al Coolidge ends up taking first place for his Pride (of elephants)...2nd prize went to Claire Cowie for her painterly ways and lastly Claire's old man Leo Burke with his psychedelic dolphins pulls third. Way to go you wild and qwazy Sanders.
