Give me your memories...Seattle People!!! I will kick it off with a story of my own.
I used to go see the Dog House Pup Room Performer Dick Dickerson on his magic organ...He had an Organ Bar scenario...6 or 8 seats in front of him. Every night they would begin their performances. The Whistle Soloist would come in to do a "South Pacific Medley" that required a hook to drag him off...I aways looked forward to the scene.

Thanks for the memories, Ruby.

Ohhh, by choice it's been so long since I've been in Seattle that I forgot about little gems like this - are you saying it just now died, is that what this is about, a wake of sorts?

I, too, remember Dick Dickerson (with love in my heart), but mostly I remember how crushed out I always was on those hardcore old waitresses from another time and place -- always the perfect end to all night debauchery!

All Roads Lead to The Dogouse ... back in the 80's, yuppies alongside punks and goths, waitresses with beehives. Great memories, some good food. I remember the $4.95 Ribeye Steak - "tenderness not guaranteed" per the menu - had it once, they were right! Wish I'd grabbed a menu, just for the memories . . .
