Dr. Montana, I Presume?

On this day in history, November 10th, 1871, journalist and explorer Henry Stanley found Dr. David Livingstone in the heart of darkest Africa--deep in the Congo. Dr. Livingstone's European colleagues had not seen or heard from him in years; not since he walked into the jungle seeking the source of the Nile. Five years later, Mr. Stanley found the doctor and introduced himself with the now famous remark, Dr. Livingstone, I presume?

In the picture above, intrepid explorer Peaches Chekouras catches up with Dr. Ruby Montana deep in the Paris Metro system. Using the famous "one arm" approach to photography, Peaches captures the good doctor on her way to Pere Lachaise Cemetery--a trip of its own.
