Happy Birthday to The Coral Sands Experience; Rock On, Blog Nation

It was twenty years ago today!
.
No, no. Wait. Cut! That was something else.
.
It was one year ago today that Peaches Chekouras and Ruby Montana sat down at the Green Formica table and launched the blog you are reading now. Here's the first post for you sentimental types (hi, David!):

This is the kitchen clock at The Coral Sands. You'll find most of the after hours action in the kitchen of The Sands at the Green Formica table.
C'mon in!
.
Ain't it the truth. Of course, we quickly posted photos of Lola and Dusty, Ruby's dad Mel. From there we followed the shenannigans of Ruby and her many pussy posses, boy toys, heroes, winos, artists, gods, and madmen. It's been a fabulous year with over 17,000 visits to the blog thus far and it looks like we'll scream past the 20K mark before 2007 yields to the New Year.
.
The blog is, of course, thrilled to be a Scorpio, following in the foot steps of several notable Sanders, including our own Ruth Warren, Margaret "Peaches' Sister" Morwood, a certain Mr. Staskowski and many, many more.
.
Thank you for being readers, cub reporters, R U Hip game players, contributors of photos, and, most of all, THANK YOU FOR BEING SANDERS. My world is empty without you, babe.
