Isabelle Lynn and Kay Kershaw At The Double Kay Mountain Ranch in Goose Prairie Washington/Chinook Pass

Kay and Isabelle were the Gertrude and Alice of America...and served as mentors. They are the real truth behind the direction of a little pink motel...The Coral Sands. Their Guest Ranch high in the mountains didn't have power and they had to cross country ski 30 miles to retrieve their mail. They would take Supreme Court Justices...William O. Douglas...on two week pack trips...eventually coming up with the very first designation for Wilderness in the State of Washington...The William O. Douglas Wilderness area was certainly mentored by Isabelle Lynn and Kay Kershaw. These women were the real Deal.
